台灣香椿生技股份有限公司是真正獲得高雄醫學大學以【香椿降血糖成分萃取及保健食品開發 】之技術移轉授權的公司，該技術係由台灣香椿研究群研發成功的，授權技術內容是以萃取及特殊處理之技術，分離出香椿中具有降血糖之部分，再進一步開發成具有保健功效之食品或農產品 。

 　　台灣香椿生技股份有限公司之成立，是以學術研究為主體，不以營利為目的，除依學理研究成果製造香椿生技產品外，亦積極的參與香椿之研究與開發，公司成員大部分為香椿研究群的學者、學生及研究人員，公司內及公司外之香椿研究實驗用材料，皆係由台灣香椿公司提供。

The Taiwan Toona Biotech. Corp. is the sole company who has the special technique titled “Extraction of the hypoglycemic ingredient from Toona sinensis (TS) and health food development” transferred from Kaohsiung Medical University. This technique was developed by TS research team and includes hypoglycemic  ingredient extraction and special processing methods for further development of health foods or healthy agricultural products.
